Gray Day Whale Watching

A gray day in Seward isn't enough to keep people away from whale watching. My mom, sisters, and I had the chance to go on one of Major Marine's gray whale migratory cruises last weekend, and it was a blast. We didn't see any gray whales, but we did see my favorite animal: sea otters!

I just love these little guys! They are so much fun to watch!

We did pack the Dramamine to ward of seasickness, but Laura still got a little queasy.

It was pouring rain-- to the point where I couldn't keep my plastic-wrapped camera water-free. I loved watching everyone on the boat bundle up in their sopping coats, and still keep their eyes peeled.

This hard-to-reach cabin in one of the Resurrection Bay coves is my new dream house!

At the end of the trip, we saw a Humpback whale. It was a beautiful, colorful sight on deck.

Blueberry Hill was asked to take photos on this trip for Major Marine. You can see more and read about the experience on the Major Marine blog.
