Over the years I have hired several different people to photograph my family and Sarah was the absolute best. Not only did she provide us with so many beautiful, artistic, timeless, fun, candid images but because she has a way with people (and especially children) that puts you at ease and makes you feel great about yourself. That is the kind of person you want taking your family photos, trust me! Look no further!
Sarah is a wonderful, gentle, understanding soul when it comes to photographing babies! She made us instantly feel at ease at our first session with our new baby and we look forward to working with her in the future! She has a talent for capturing the honest beauty of families and we treasure the photos she has taken for us.

I didn’t even realize there was a moment there, but somehow Sarah turned a normal morning into all of these special moments. It’s true! In Sarah’s hands, our life -- a messy toddler, a messy house -- turned into beautiful moments that truly capture what our life is like right now. If I could give them anything after I am gone, it would be these photos, when they were so little, of a normal morning -- a normal beautiful morning.

I’ve had two maternity sessions with Sarah, and both times she was willing to freeze while keeping a fun, upbeat attitude the whole time. She would check the back of the camera and exclaim, “Oh yeah!” “More of that!” Her encouragement and excitement helped me drop into my emotions and because of that her work truly captured the joy of my pregnancy. Not to mention, she also helped me style the shoot by sending me dress ideas and she knew of fantastic locations. I just showed up and had fun!

In December my family had the wonderful opportunity to have our photos taken by Sarah. We booked a Christmas mini session and it was nothing short of magical! We’ve done mini sessions with other photographers before and it was a disaster every time. This session was not rushed in any way and was relaxing from start to finish. My family does not do well in front of the camera but somehow Sarah captured the love and goofiness of us all without any of our awkwardness. They are my favorite photos and I can’t wait to book with her again!

Sarah is amazing! She’s taken our family photos for the last several years - wrangling babies, siblings, and dogs - and always while making everyone laugh! Far from the standard, Sarah’s photos are works of art and she brings creativity and a different perspective to every session. She listens to her client’s vision, and has great suggestions! In case you are looking for a photographer and are reading these reviews trying to decide, do not search further. Sarah is the best you can wish for! She is incredibly kind and funny and makes you feel at ease during the full photo session. On top, she is super organized and captures even the smallest details. And most important for your search, her work is stunning!! We absolutely love the pictures she took and are tremendously happy we chose her after reading her reviews here last year! Currently our only concern is how to beam her to Germany to picture all the rest of our photo sessions
